Paul dela Merced is a stylist, writer, photographer, and marketing entrepreneur. The multi-hyphenate is currently Chief Marketing Director at a USA-founded lifestyle brand and formerly Editor-in-Chief at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE-Sephora Southeast Asia. He is represented by one of the most prominent talent agencies in the world, Wilhelmina, as fashion stylist.

Paul was born and educated in the Philippines with a degree in Mass Communication at Ateneo de Davao University. He began his career in fashion as brand manager at a local retail brand before moving to Singapore in 2010 to advance his career.

Since then, Paul has developed a strong sense of competence—be it creative direction, project management, content creation, marketing, and communication. He is attuned to the fashion and luxury lifestyle markets. He possesses a deep understanding of world-class quality and craftsmanship, a strong skill in producing confident and engaging stories, and an adept eye for fashion and trends.

In his career, dela Merced has contributed to many magazine editions of ELLE Singapore, L’Officiel Singapore, Cosmopolitan Singapore, and Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, as well as digital publications Buro 24/7 Singapore and Adon Magazine. He has appeared as a fashion advisor on Singapore TV show ‘Manja’.

The Filipino creative is known for a startling strategy on fashion spreads and product shoots that have strong commercial viabilities. The self-taught stylist has with worked with global retail brands H&M, ZARA, Mango, River Island, Suit Supply, including digital companies Google and Zalora.

Paul has a unique combination of innate creativity, strong hands-on skills, and business acumen. He currently lives in Singapore.
